Speech Day 2005

If you look at the date, it has been more than 100 days since I last blogged.

In the last 3 months, many things had happened — some shocking, some saddening and some happy… You name it, I have it. Hmm, I do wish to reminisce on the past again.

Had Speech Day today. The front part was boring with three speeches and many prize winners. My sec sch did not have so many prize winners during Speech Day. If the scale of the Speech Day was the same as what I saw today, I should have been present in my sec sch way back in JC1. The Indian and Modern Dance were nice especially the modern dance. An eye-opene indeed. Now I know why the Modern Dance Group was conferred the gold (with honours) award.

Next week’s gonna be busy. Had many test papers and assignments to mark. In addition to that, I have to do my lesson plans as well. I have become an Iron Man, someone who does not need any rest, someone who works long hours a day…

i never thought being a teacher can be so busy and tiring….

Anyway, i think teachers can be angels in the lives of many

teachers actualli hav a great impact in a student’s life, sometimes without they themselves knowing…..

In this sense, i think teachers should be leaders who can encourage the students more rather than overly critising them….
As leaders, they must be someone who wants to help all students to become successful in life, afterall performances in school (both academic and eca-wise) do affect the students’ progress and standing in society in Spore.

A good teacher must be one that dare to say:” i want all my students to score ACE in everything and motivate them towards that….’

i believe being a teacher can realli be a fulfilling one in that way… and will also earn a respect of many in that way…..
Do enjoy your work as a teacher:)
